I tried emailing this developer and never heard back.
I took a chance and just bought it.
The game is gorgeous. I am really impressed.
Someone on the TouchArcade forum complained about the controls but I really happen to think they are really good:
After you line up the putt, you pull the meter back on the right for power, then you push upward at the speed you want the ball to have.
It works well.
The only complaint that I have at this time is the camera system. What is there is fine, but there is an absence of a camera that rotates around the hole.
I hope that is added in an update.
I would also love more courses, especially with this awesome design.

This is easily one of the best mini golf games in the App Store but I must say, the loading times are brutal.
Hopefully you can release an update that shortens the loading time. But other than that, amazing game with incredible graphics.

I love Putt Putt 3D Golf, especially now that left-handed controls were added. I do have one suggestion, I wish the game remember your sound/music settings, Right now have to set them each time you start the app.
Some bad moments
Based on the description, this game seems awesome. And for $2.99 I figured it was worth it. But its not. If the app doesnt crash while its opening, its sure to freeze/crash your iPhone/iPod once you get to basically the first menu. Completely unplayable.
I saw my cousin playing this on his I-touch and I had to have it! Little did I know that the app doesnt work w/ the 3G... Constantly crashing, havent been able to play, very annoying.
This game would be great if it worked consistantly! My iPhone 3G only has a chance of playing the game if the wifi is turned on. Idk why.
Optimization updates for ios4 and iPhone 4 please please please please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will re-rate 5stars when updated because this is a great game!!!
This game is unplayable on my iPod Touch 2G with 4.0. Crashes every time the first hole loads. Please fix.
Loaded with bugs and the more you play the more you find. Nothing like the ball disappearing and you having to restart the entire 9 holes youre on just to fix it. Micro control of putter is at best very poor. Power control is unreliable and doesnt fire at least a third of the time. Replay time games and it will tell you youre going to the back 9 - however it takes you to the front 9 again. Your money would be better spent on buying a soda! Wish I could give this game a negative star rating.
