Putt Putt Golf 3D App Reviews

Based on the description, this game seems awesome. And for $2.99 I figured it was worth it. But its not. If the app doesnt crash while its opening, its sure to freeze/crash your iPhone/iPod once you get to basically the first menu. Completely unplayable.

I have THE best Golf and Mini Golf Games for my iPod. These are the few that stay in my iPod Permanently: MINI GOLF - 3D Mini Golf (Digital Chocolate) Adrenaline Golf Online (My favorite one) Tiki Golf 3D Mini Golf Wacky Worlds (Now we can add) Putt Putt Mini Golf GOLF - Tiger Woods Lets Golf Fore! Then of course, Melon Golf and Twilight Golf which arent really golf, but they are on board my ipod for good as well. I tried emailing this developer and never heard back. I took a chance and just bought it. The game is gorgeous. I am really impressed. Someone on the TouchArcade forum complained about the controls but I really happen to think they are really good: After you line up the putt, you pull the meter back on the right for power, then you push upward at the speed you want the ball to have. It works well. The only complaint that I have at this time is the camera system. What is there is fine, but there is an absence of a camera that rotates around the hole. I hope that is added in an update. I would also love more courses, especially with this awesome design. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who enjoy mini golf games.

This is easily one of the best mini golf games in the App Store but I must say, the loading times are brutal. Hopefully you can release an update that shortens the loading time. But other than that, amazing game with incredible graphics. *** This game runs fine on a 3G non-jailbroken.

The game will not play on the 3G. Buyers beware!

I saw my cousin playing this on his I-touch and I had to have it! Little did I know that the app doesnt work w/ the 3G... Constantly crashing, havent been able to play, very annoying.

Good game. Good graphics. But its difficult since I am left handed to see the screen when I am reaching across it to launch the shot. You guys might want to consider allowing the shot to be taken from either side of the screen in the option section.

I love Putt Putt 3D Golf, especially now that left-handed controls were added. I do have one suggestion, I wish the game remember your sound/music settings, Right now have to set them each time you start the app.

This game would be great if it worked consistantly! My iPhone 3G only has a chance of playing the game if the wifi is turned on. Idk why.

Originally I bought 3D Mini Golf Challenge, thinking it was 3D mini golf but it turned out to be a series of challenges based around this. Needless to say I was disappointed. I checked this game out and its exactly what I was looking for -- a 3D mini golf game where you play at your leisure. Even though this is meant to advertise putt putt golf centers, this game is very easy to control, completely addicting and all-around fun!!! If youre looking for a mini golf game thats got good graphics, fun gameplay and one that you can play at your own pacem, this ones for you! At only 99 cents its the best investment Ive made game-wise on my iPod!

I was having issues on my older 3G device with the 4.01 update and was asked by the support team to reboot my device and i it is working great since then. Great game!!!! Need new levels and updates soon!!!!

This game is unplayable on my iPod Touch 2G with 4.0. Crashes every time the first hole loads. Please fix.

I have enjoyed this game so far except for 2 big things that stand out. It took me a bit to get the controls down and after you take a shot it would be nice if you were facing the general direction of the hole. Second, and larger issue is the skill progression. It starts out way too easy on the first level, then jumps to being so difficult that you need to shoot many shots perfectly. The game needs new levels between these two so you can progress your skill level from being too easy to being too hard. Minus that main issue, I would have given it 5 stars.

This is my favorite game in the app store. If you like golf/putting games, buy it!
